Questions to ask about a mobile infusion service

Convenience is one part of a service. Ask how clinical assessment, supervision, and response to a concern work in the actual setting being proposed.

Confirm the service rather than assuming it

Ask which locations and visit formats a provider actually supports. Clarify travel fees, appointment requirements, and what information is needed beforehand. Hyperwell has not confirmed mobile or at-home infusion services. This guide is a general comparison resource, not an offer to provide them.

Ask about the people and setting

Confirm the identity and role of the assessing clinician and the person administering care. Ask how the location is evaluated and what support is available during the visit. If several people will receive care, clarify whether each has an individual assessment rather than assuming a group booking establishes suitability.

Discuss contingencies before payment

Ask what happens if the setting is unsuitable, assessment advises against treatment, or a concern occurs during the appointment. Clarify cancellation and refund terms in writing. Do not treat a mobile wellness visit as emergency care. A convenient appointment should still leave you able to explain the proposed care and its limitations.

Make the conversation yours

Questions to take with you.

  • Is this visit format actually available and appropriate?
  • Who assesses me and who administers care?
  • What happens if the visit cannot safely proceed?
