IV therapy & wellness

Before your first IV therapy visit

Understand why an infusion is being considered before choosing ingredients or booking a treatment. The assessment and safety arrangements matter as much as the infusion itself.

Confirm the appointment you are arranging

Ask whether the booking is for assessment, a possible treatment, or a separate consultation. Confirm the location, visit format, fees, and any records requested before you make travel plans. An appointment listing alone does not establish that you will receive an infusion that day.

Request individual preparation instructions

Ask the practice whether any preparation applies to your proposed visit. Do not copy food, fluid, medicine, or supplement instructions from another clinic’s website. Bring your current product list and relevant history so the clinician can assess the actual proposal. Tell the team about previous procedural difficulties or infusion concerns.

Keep the decision open when you arrive

Explain what prompted your interest and ask whether an infusion has a clear purpose for your circumstances. Get the ingredient list, alternatives, and cost before consenting. If treatment is considered, continue with the separate consent and aftercare discussion; practical readiness does not replace clinical suitability.

Make the conversation yours

Questions to take with you.

  • What is the purpose of this infusion for me?
  • What are the ingredients and alternatives?
  • Who is responsible for assessment and monitoring?
