Choosing to pause or decline an aesthetic treatment

You can choose information without choosing a procedure. A consultation should help you understand the options and leave room for a decision that fits your preferences.

Name the reason for hesitation

You might need more information about risks, feel uncertain about the proposed change, prefer a smaller commitment, or simply not want treatment now. You do not need to turn that preference into a medical argument. Tell the clinician which part of the decision you want to discuss further.

Request what would make the decision clearer

Ask for a written summary, specific sources, another conversation, or the records needed for a second opinion. If the issue is an unclear expectation, ask the clinician to describe limitations as well as the intended change. Avoid filling gaps with edited images or another person’s result.

Clarify practical next steps

Confirm whether any fees, cancellation terms, or follow-up apply even if you decide against the procedure. If a concern needs medical evaluation independently of aesthetic treatment, ask how to arrange that care. Hyperwell’s philosophy includes informed choice; consultation does not commit you to a prescription, procedure, or package.
