Begin with the life you want the plan to fit
Write down what brought you to the appointment in your own words. Perhaps you want help understanding a changing weight pattern, sorting through medication information, or building a more manageable routine. Separate your health priorities from a number you feel pressured to reach. Bring a brief timeline of previous approaches, including what felt sustainable and what did not. That history makes the conversation more specific than simply asking which injection is best.
Bring context, not a perfect history
Prepare your medication and supplement list, allergies, relevant diagnoses, and any recent records you already have. Mention prior weight-management treatment and any difficulties with it. You do not need to order a panel of tests before speaking with a clinician. Ask which information is relevant and why. If the visit is remote, confirm beforehand what records are needed and whether your location is eligible for care. Hyperwell’s visit formats and service area will be published once verified.
Leave with a plan you can explain
Before the visit ends, ask what the proposed next step is, what it is intended to address, and how you will decide whether it is working. Clarify who answers questions between visits, what follow-up may cost, and what happens if medication is not appropriate. A good decision may be to gather more information or consider another approach. You should not have to commit to a package to understand the recommendation.
Make the conversation yours
Questions to take with you.
- What information would change your recommendation?
- What would follow-up involve for someone with my history?
- Which costs are separate from the consultation?
