Compare the recommendation, not the headline
If you have seen competing claims, bring the specific advertisement or article to your consultation. Ask what population it describes and whether the comparison applies to the product and use under discussion. A statistic from one study should not become a personal forecast. Ask the clinician to explain why one option is being considered in your case and what uncertainty remains.
Use the same questions for both options
Record the product name, intended indication, prescribing rationale, relevant precautions, and monitoring plan side by side. Ask whether a different medicine you already take affects the decision. Discuss availability without assuming that a shortage or a change in coverage automatically makes another formulation interchangeable. Your prescription and follow-up instructions need to come from the treating clinician.
Compare the practical commitment
Ask about visits, pharmacy access, refill communication, and what happens if a plan needs to change. Compare total costs over a stated period rather than a teaser starting price. Clarify which fees could vary and whether any payment is refundable. Hyperwell has not published product availability or prices; these should be confirmed before treatment is arranged.
Make the conversation yours
Questions to take with you.
- Why are you considering this option for me?
- What would prompt a change in the plan?
- How do the total costs and follow-up requirements differ?
